So two weekends ago, the “squad” braved the scorching heat of UAE (Gahd! August is the worst!) and took a 2-hour drive from Dubai to Fujairah to celebrate yet another birthday (Happy Belated Birthday Ate Mara! 🙂 ) and yeah mainly to do nothing but chill (Eat. Drink. Sleep. Repeat.) at Concorde Hotel.
Situated along Fujairah’s main road, this rated 5 star hotel, awarded as traveler’s choice by TripAdvisor in 2014, definitely suits business and leisure travelers. With elegant interiors and well-furnished rooms and suites, this hotel also boasts a spa and wellness center, all day and fine dining restaurants, meeting rooms, and a Ballroom which can be used for parties and other occasions and can accommodate 900 guests, among other amenities. And what did everyone really enjoy? Yes, the rooftop swimming pool(s) overlooking the Hajaar Mountains! (Promo right there! Hello One to One Hotels and Resorts! Haha!)
Afternoon booze while karaoke-ing then taking a dip in the pool. A good night sleep in a very comfy bed after a decadent nightlife. Ugh! The shallow life of an expat who works six days a week. The struggle is real! Oh well! Haha!
